Greatest Miracle - Creation
I've come across this verse hundreds of times. I al thought I understood the verse pretty well. God knew us before we were even formed.
Today I received the bad news of one of my close friend who had miscarried. All of a sudden I realise what a great miracle "creation" is. It is something that man has not been able to duplicate. Not only duplicating, no man can have the slightest control over the process of "creation". Doctors can tell the sex of the baby, determine the heart beat, check the growth etc etc. But no one can control "creation". The development of each and every body part is not in any of our hands.
I was just shaken by these thoughts this day. What I have today to be called by the name "Dahlia" is not due to my efforts or my acheivement. It is purely Gods gracious miracle. I take this time to thank God for the good hands, eyes, nose, ears, legs, heart and everything that He has given me.

Open Door, Closed doors....
These were the words that comforted me one fine day in 2002. I had just finished my B.E and was in the middle of a roadway not knowing where the road is going. During my final year my only ambition was to get into a job as soon as possible. But my parents insisted on me doing my post graduation. Amidst all the misunderstanding, I never bothered to prepare for my M.E admissions. I missed out the GATE exams and even the Anna University non GATE exams. I was so careless that i dint even send an application to Anna University. So the biggest of doors were shut for me. It was only after I finished my B.E that I realised that I was nowhere....
The only options I had was to try and get into some private colleges. But the donations those days for M.E Computer Science was crazy. The minimum donation would be 75000 which was much beyond what my parents could afford. So i could see the next door closing too.
In my vision there was no possibilty of getting my M.E admission that year. During those days of mental battle, I got a forwarded mail from a friend. I hardly remember the contents of the mail. But the line ' God shuts every door to open the best door for you' just struck me. It was there in the back of my mind for the next few days. Not long after, I saw a paper advertisement from Karunya Institute of Technology for M.E admissions. I put an application without much hope. But to my surprise I got the admission. The best part, I dint have to pay a penny as donation. It was indeed the best door that God had opened for me.
So friends, I want to encourage everyone with the wors of God given to the Philedelphia church in Rev. 3:7, 8. It says "What he opens no one can shut, and what he shuts no one can open". Indeed my dear friends, all doors may seem to be closed but our God will open the best door for you. When he opens a door, no one can shut it....

'Chikungunea' - under His control..........
It was around that time, my friend Abi came to visit me and spent a day with me. By afternoon, she said she had severe joint pain and was feeling very feverish. In the evening we went to the doctor and found that she had chikungunea too. She was so worried that i shouldn't get it from her. So she decided to leave immediately.
Just a week before i was about to go to my parents place for delivery, my mom found that she had chikungunea too. With chikungunea in my own house where else could i go??? God was the only hope. I used to read Psalms 91 whenever i felt down and that would be a great source of encouragement.
Amazingly, I was hail and healthy throughout. According to my worldly wisdom I knew that i was surroounded by uncertainity. Any time i could get infected too. But 'there is nothing that is beyond His control. Nothing can happen without His knowledge'...... Thats the simplest way to put it.....

Jehovah Rophe - The Healer
The next day we planned to go to my grand parents place. Myself, my bro, my aunt, my cousin vashni and febby anna made the first trip in the morning. My parents were supposed to come in the evening to attend the new year service at church and we were all planning to spend the night at grandmas place. After lunch at about 3 in the afternoon, my aunt decided to go to her parents place which was close by. She left with febby anna and vashni. My grandpa had also gone out. My grandma went to buy some things for the new year feast. So me and my brother were left all alone at home. At about 3:45, i started breathing heavily again. It became so severe, i couldnt stand in a place. I started sweating profusely. My brother was too young and became very worried. He was almost in tears. In the bottom of my mind I thought i was going to die because something like this had never happened before. It was becoming more and more severe. Just then my grandmom came. She also panicked but immediately boiled some water and asked me to do steam inhalation. Immediately i could sense a bit of releif. My bro called up my parents. They told him that they were dropping their plan of coming to grandmas place and asked us to return as soon as possible. Since it was a village, we have buses only once in an hour or 2. The next bus was only at 6 pm. I had no clue about how i was going to spend that time. My aunt returned from her parents place. She was all dressed up to go to church. But when they saw me even they became worried. Febby anna immediately called up one of his relative doctors and asked her for opinion. The dctor did give some prescriptions. But there was no pharmacy in that village. I really dont remember how i spend the rest of the time but we finally got the bus. I was trying to sleep in the chithis lap but couldnt. As soon as we reached our destination my dad was waiting with the scooter to take me to the doctor. The doctor said it was 'wheesing'. I've just heard of people getting it. But me!!!! I was shocked....
I took all the medicines that he gave me. But i had no sleep that entire night. The wheesing subsided on 2nd evening. It was the worst new year i ever had. But that night i made a silent preyer. I said Lord ' I've never suffered so much before. Please Lord i dont want this again. The next year new year service I want to testify in church about this'.
The Lord did hear my prayer. Throughout the year i did get mild breathing problems but i would just vanish in moments without any medication. He gave me good health thoughout that year. Praise God!!! I did share my testimony in church the following year. He is Jehovah Rophe - The Healer.

He is my guy
I was just longing for someone who will become my life,my passion,my everything.Wandering for years together I never knew there was someone who has choosen me in my mothers womb and has made all my organs perfectly.I am happy for the life he has given me,the hope he has given me today,my family,my job,my city,my church etc n etc..it goes on & on....He knows me more than even me.
Even before I utter words he knows my thoughts. He plans for me are always the best for me.He upholds me with his righteous right hand.He is all I need,He is all I want..cuz there is no one else like him.Even when the whole world forsake yet he will never leave me nor forsake me.He has inscribed my name in his nail pierced arms and he is the shepherd of my soul.I am being pampered so much cuz I m his pet sheep.
God's will in my life
When I was doing my XII STD my ultimate aim in life was to study BE Computer Science in Karunya . cuz I was studying in a hindhu institution and I suffered a lot to conduct my prayer cell.Every now and then my school hostel wasrden usec to warn me for conducting the prayer cell and there were so much of persecutions for the prayer cell.I asked god to give me a college where in I wont have problems to pray in my room and where I can grow spiritually.
When the results came, his grace was sufficient for me.I had a gud score.I was satisfied with my results but yet my dream didnot come true.My brother got me an application for BE in Avinashilingam, which is a pakka Hindhu Institution.I wrote the entrance examination and When I got the admission card from Avinashilingam there was noone at home."Oh my god another hindhu institution in my life....no way..."I was about to tear the card but God said dont do that.No other option when he tells.my father was particular to send me to this college.
Atlast I joined in Avinashilingam with so much of fears in my heart. For one whole year I didnt find a gud fellowship.I was just longing for a fellowship to share the word.End of my first year,God opened the door for me.It was my own classmate Dahlia and we started praying and It was a prayer cell with 3 people...me and dahlia and above all .....Jesus.Slowly God added people into the prayer cell and There are days when the prayer cell grew upto 30+.Even here there was opposition but even then the grace of god was upon us and he did wonders among us.His thoughts are so far and entirely different from ours.
He is the creator of heaven and earth. He knows wat is gud for us and where we will prosper. Its always gud to accept God's will though the dreams that u have doesnt match with the circumstances.Atlast you will know his ways and it will be amazing to see his works in you and your life.

A Desert turned out to be a prosperous land in his hands
Everybody were telling the same comment about the land that it will never prosper. After his retirement my father started investing in this land and myself and my mom was so burdened about that whatever we invest in that land is a waste and we were praying that god should some how stop the contruction work and my father should sell the land inturn to someone.this was our prayer.nothing happened as we prayed.my father atlast finished the contruction work and took us to that land.when we went there our eyes were filled with tears cuz the same jeep shed turned out to be a very beautiful resort.Who else can do this miracle other than our lord.god has changed the statement of the localites that the land is too gud now.its giving a gud income to us.
Certain times god allows us to be like our land without any changes.may be even for years.but it does nt mean that he is not listening to our prayers.he has got a season to bless us.its not cuz of our prayers alone god brings blessing into our lives, but in his time he will make things happen more than what we pray for.my prayer was to sell the land.if we had sold it we would have got less than 5 lakhs but now god has made a cursed land to be a blessing and its worth is 20 lakhs now.Even u may be thinking my life is like a curse,a desert, wilderness but god can change any desert into a prosperous land.for him nothing is impossible.his ways are marvellous and his thoughts are so high and different from ours.Trust him and press on.He is there to change any worst situation of urs into a favourable one.
God turns our failures into success
When I was doing my second year,I had an Electricals paper.I hate that subject and the lecturer who handled that paper resigned her job and left us desperately.Just a week before semester some new mam came and she rushed up the 3 units which were not covered. It appeared greek and latin for me.the examination date was approaching and i got so bugged up with my electricals paper.
Atlast when i saw the question paper in the examination hall,i was so shocked cuz i didnt know anything.I asked god to sit beside me and dictate the answer and asked him to put his hands uopn my hands and write the answers like a mom helping a kid in writting ...i started writing slowly and i couldnt proceed after 40 mins cuz i didnt know anything more than that.the invigilator was not ready to send me out in 40 mins.so i was just sitting in the exam hall and was praying to god.
When i got my the exam results,i z amazed to c i had scored 40 marks.yahooooooooo...i have passed...god gave me successsssssss....40 mins 40 marks.who is the secret behind this success....yes......its our jesus who had given grace and favour to me and turned my failure to success....
Even when the whole world is turning dark,he will come with a small candle light to show us a way to escape and the intimacy we have with our god should grow more n more.so that oneday it will be only he who will be seen in each n every cell of us..and from there on he will take us to a new level of revealation. He will hold our hands and drag us to new people and nations and make us an useful vessel thats overflowing

Testimony of my first elder brother JOEL…….
School days were not so pleasant for my brother because he use to fail in almost all the subjects. Nobody in our family thought that he will pass standard 10th. Yea, but it was God’s miracle and grace that he made it. Standard 11th and 12 was not so fine for my brother. He started cutting class and started watching movies…..hanging around with friends. This caused a severe setback in his life. He started to face defeats and failures in his life especially in pursuing his higher studies.
Though my brother was going in his own ways…..God was carefully planning him to return to the path of righteousness. Bro. Robinson, an evangelist (Christ is my life ministry) who is working among the youth use to visit our house frequently. The words from the Bible through Bro. Robinson played a vital role in his life. Many times I have observed my brother, though he was struggling in his own ways, yet he had a heart to obey my parents, very loving child in the family, with patience as a virtue……..After his post graduation, he joined in a small private company in Nagercoil for a meager salary. Often times he was down that he is not able to excel when compared to his friends.
“Christ is my life ministry” gave an impetus for him to involve in ministry. Gradually, he started engaging to God’s ways and will, confessing his sins and leaving worldly ways and friendship. It was a time where my parents were searching a girl for him. Since his earning capacity was low, we had a fear that how he will run his family. God in due time blessed him with a loving and God fearing wife. My sister-in-law was working in Kuwait and she made all arrangements to take my brother to Kuwait. When he went there, he struggled to find a job and for more than five months he was unemployed.
In the meantime God blessed them with a lovely kid named Joshua Giftson. After much prayer, God blessed my brother with a good job in one of the biggest companies in Kuwait. Presently, as family they are living for the glory of God in that remote and gentile land stating “Christ is my life”. I would like to praise and thank God for saving my brother and blessing him spiritually, materially, personally and socially. Thanks to Bro. Robinson who contributed a lot to grow spiritually and leading us in God’s ways whenever we were lagging behind……
Dear Reader,
We do not know what will hold our future, but we surely know Who(Jesus) will hold our future.

Hey, i am into Social work...
God gave an opportunity to attend a State Students leadership camp at Madurai in the year 2000 through EU. In the second day of the camp, I met my senior and enquired about her job and education. It turned to joy when I heard from her that she has done her Master’s degree in Social work and working in an Organization in Madurai. Yea, it was the first time that I heard about a course called “Social work”. That night I went to a solitary place and started praying with these words- Oh Lord, a deep desire has sprung up in my heart to pursue this social work. If it is your will means, will you help me”? I had in mind about two challenges to face. One is finance and another was convincing my father to allow me to go out to study as Social work was not in any colleges in kanyakumari district. In my Bible on 16.10.2K, I wrote the following words signing on the paper that I have stuck in the Bible and started praying:
Dear Lord,
If it is your will, help me to obtain an admission in MSW….
God worked through my mother and maternal uncle to convince my father and God provided all finances to meet all the expenses related to my studies. God was amazingly opening the ways for me…..In selecting the college, I wanted to study in Bishop Heber, since it’s a Christian college but God didn’t allow but instead gave me a Hindu Institution. Yea, I praise God for I could lead many to Christ through prayer cell and individually in that Hindu Institution. God blessed my years in Madurai and with much humility I am expressing that my fellow students and professors acknowledged me to be a different person from others that brought glory to Jesus.
Dear Reader,
Submitting to God’s will bring a greater blessing for His path is full of righteousness and peace and there is no death. Let everything be done as per God’s will in your life.
Miraculous healing of my mother from heart problem
Dear reader, God is close to the broken hearted and surely will hear your agony. Are you going through such a situation in your life? Just go to Jesus and you will see His miracle today.

Let that be enough!
I was thinking hard on what should go up on this page which claims to be a treasure online; and I came to the conclusion which is inevitable for the life granted me. What could be more a treasure than the kingdom of God? Which other treasure out-values the rest of the whole world?
One friend and icon I relate much with in this pilgrim progress toward the Kingdom is Jon Foreman of the band ‘Switchfoot.’ Jon is gifted with David’s pen that brings out emotions with exceptional beauty and feeling. These are some of his words to which I relate much:
Growing up from a boy to a man is a difficult task! The reality and harshness of life stares you in the face. It becomes clear as water why the Christian life is compared to carrying a cross. Very often the Christian living in the world is like a rose in the desert. Everything around is against him. But in the midst of all this, when all our sand castles are collapsing, and when we feel like a late-nite plane with nowhere to land, and when we feel stuck watching history repeating, the beauty of the Christian faith emerges in that we can find strength in the assurance that He hears, loves and cares for us.
Truly, His grace is sufficient and more than enough!
Signing off,

He lived to die....
The chorous goes this way...
Crucified, laid behind a stone...
You lived to die rejected and alone...
Like a rose, trampled on the ground..
U took the fall and thought of me....
Above all....
I was really amazed at the words ' You lived to die'.... How can a person live with the knowledge of his death??? If i were to know the date of my death and the way in which i would die, i'm sure i'll fall into a depression or may be get a heart attack. But Jesus knew that He was born to die, to die on the cross. Yet he loved everyone and shared His joy and peace with others. wow.... He is beyond description........
Do listen to my favorite song 'Above all powers, above all kings'

Faithful God
you spared me from going down into the pit."
This is my testimony in a verse. Though i was born and brought up in a strict christian family, i never knew my Lord Jesus personally. I was regular to church and an active member of my sunday class. At a very early age of 10, i even started playing the keyboard in my church.
That was my spiritual life till i was 11. It was then that i opened my ears to the Lord and let Him shape my life. He spoke to me through my mom and my pastor and made me realize the depth of sin that i was into. With His help i was able to come out of my sinful life. I started reading the Bible and meditating on it daily. I was very eager to testify about my Lord whereever I went.
But satan wouldn't keep quiet. He continued to tempt me in different ways. But each time, the Lord spared my life from going down into the pit before it was too long. Every time i mess up my life, the Lord was patient to pull me out of the grave, clense me, teach me and purify me.
Today I wouldn't claim to be a spiritual person. But i am definetely His humble servant willing to learn more of His word and please Him in all possible ways. Each day there is something new that the Lord wants to teach me. Inspite of all my shortcomings and unfaithfulness, He has been faithful enough not only to take me out of the grave but also place me on the throne. I mean what I say. He has indeed blessed me in all ways spiritually, materially and physically. Praise be my dear Lord Jesus Christ.
