The effects of Sudan famine…..

Can you see the aching child whose life is at risk?

How many of us murmur against God even though he has blessed us with a decent living? Please look at the child whose life is at risk because of the devastating famine. God has blessed us with abundant food that we hesitate to share it with the needy and wanting…In our life often times we fail to notice people who are struggling to run their life.

When Jesus was in the world, he had compassion on the people who were suffering. Jesus shed tears at the instance when Lazarus was buried in the tomb…..Have we got the same compassion on people who are suffering around us physically, mentally, socially and economically?

Are we able to sympathize and empathize for people who are battered and shattered in life? How far we have cultivated this virtue or are we living for own selfish ambition alone?

Dear Reader, let me leave the question to you………..

hi jemi,
it is very true.. we are so blessed with abundant food that we just take it for granted. Even one handful of food that we waste might be life for someone far off. we should learn to share with the needy. Before that we should learn to thank God for every small bit of foos and other things that He has given us. To say in laymans terms ' Do not waste food'.
